The film introduces bands such as Silly, Chicorée, San...。“煤都”淮海市，一列火车疾驶而来，铁路上打闹的孩子们没有意识到危险的来临，乔小龙父亲见状大喊前去相救，孩子得救了，小龙却永远失去了父亲。吴淮生母亲收养了小龙。从此吴淮生、孔大钧、刘国梁、乔小龙几个小伙伴成为了不是亲兄弟胜似新兄弟的好朋友。十几年后，乔小龙已是上海事业有成的律师。一天深夜，二哥孔大钧不期而至，原来他经营的矿井发生瓦斯大爆炸，矿工死伤无数。淮海警方正在全力通缉他。而带队的就是刑警队长刘国梁。大哥吴淮生打来电话，以至警察扑空。 在小龙的劝说下，大钧决定自首。就在警察到来之时，孔大钧却神秘失踪，刘国梁将小龙拘留。一时间，淮海上下云生雾起。 友情、爱情、骨肉情、手足相残；案情、亲情、兄弟情、生离死别。。
