尼路路星球人美儿（渡边菜生子配音）和爷爷他们乘坐的太空船发生故障，落到了阿尔卑斯山脚下的一个小岛上，从此留下来生活。尼路路星球人把高档猫当成敌人，每天都在训练防止受到侵犯。活泼善良的美儿每天除了训练外，还和小鸟们玩耍每天都非常快乐。后来美儿和小伙伴们外出玩时，看到了一座漂亮的大房子里因哮喘病发作刚刚死去的玛利亚（安田亚希江配音），美儿眼泪滴到了玛利亚的脸上救活了她（尼路路星球人少女的眼泪是生命之泉），从此成了好朋友。玛利亚从小就体弱多病，两岁时母亲去世，父亲工作太忙经常不在家，只有潘妮老师在家陪她，使她变得越来越孤独忧伤，活泼开朗的美儿的出现，会使玛利亚今后的生活发生哪些惊奇变化呢？。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
