From the midst of pre-history to a bunker deep beneath ...。全剧以叙事的手法，讲述了沐清羽在毕业后，家人让她从事律师职业，但是沐清羽的梦想是当一名足球运动员参加一次全国足球比赛，她不顾家人的反对，一直坚持自己的梦想，哪怕是当一名小学的体育老师。一次偶然的机会，让沐清羽和她的队友们加入到比赛中。最后一步一步在比赛中取得了胜利。。故事发生在一个名为切斯特磨坊的小镇上，一个从天而降且不可摧毁的“穹顶”断绝了小镇和外界的一切联系，同时也终结了小镇维持多年的平静假象。很快，小镇居民们便看清了他们如今已成“瓮中之鳖”的现实，而随着资源的不断消耗，混乱不可避免的发生了。在老警长意外去世后，维持小镇治安的重担落到了年轻的副警长琳达（娜塔丽·马丁内兹Nataliemeijubar.netMartinez饰）肩上，而议员大吉姆（迪恩·诺里斯DeanNorris饰）则从中看到了成为“统治者”的大好机会。。
