第3季大吉与节子小女儿长子被婆婆常子赶出本间家，英作与日向子也接连搬出了本间家，由于没有积蓄，遂接受大吉与节子的照顾，住在冈仓家。由于长子将照顾英作与日向子的工作，全交给大吉与节子，英作觉得对不起丈人与丈母娘，借酒浇愁，节子体会英作的心情，再加上常子也看不下去，英作一家三口便在东京租了个房子，搬出了冈仓家。 冈仓小料理店开得很顺利，大吉节子夫妇一同打拼，不料山口家的财务状况不佳，无法再提供店面，于是大吉只好将店关起来。此时叶子再次提供了建议，将冈仓家一楼改装为料理店，大吉节子遂开始将房子进行改装。改装期间暂住到小岛邦子家协助幸乐店务，再搬到文子家协助照顾年子，开张后一开始店的生意不甚理想，经过一番宣传与努力后，才达到预期的规模。 弥生弥生的丈夫阿良，不愿接受公司的安排，由于被分配到子公司，阿良并不喜欢自己的新工作，打算辞职，而编织起开梨园的梦想，...。The Practice focused on the meijubar.net law firm of Robert Donnell and Associates (later becoming Donnell, Young, Dole, & Frutt, and ultimately Young, Frutt, & Berluti).
