The film introduces bands such as Silly, Chicorée, San...。少女应诺自母亲病逝后，与父亲的关系疏离而紧张。多年后，她带着五岁的女儿丢丢回到家乡，想把女儿托付给父亲，自己去国外参赛，不料却被父亲以各种理由拒绝，应诺不得不在家乡暂住下来。然而，在其乐融融的社区生活的背后，父女二人各有心事……影片以“安宁疗护”为切入点，表现了一个普通家庭在经历生离死别时的疼痛与温情。。
